Prospect Academy is a small, independent elementary school based in Prospect, Kentucky.

Mission Statement

At Prospect Academy, we understand that learning is a lifelong adventure. Every day, we will nourish our love of learning, think critically and creatively, pursue challenging work, and invest our best effort. Together, we will wonder, ask, discover, explore, imagine, and create opportunities that allow us to develop into globally responsible citizens, with knowledgeable and skills in many areas, so we may serve others.

Individual Tracks

We deliver our students intellectually challenging curriculum and a personal track that is individualized. We support students’ advancement through different subject areas at different rates of speed.

Learning Models

We integrate under-utilized learning models into our students’ education. Local field trips, out-of-town travel, community service are regularly integrated to support learning objectives.

Exploration

We allow students the freedom & structure to explore academic & personal interests. We believe time to pursue extracurricular activities & enjoy unstructured downtime is critical for child development.

Ownership

We provide students with the space to cultivate a real thirst, and personal pursuit, for learning. Our individualized approach gives students a voice and ownership in their education.
